This picture i have chosen to analyise because he is the lead singer of one of my favorate bands. He also tries to come across as a rebelious individual. The piercings and tatoos are what bring the idea that he is tough and strong and rebelious because piercings and tatoos are still consided as a negative in today's society. The dark aviators (sunglasses) give the model a mysterios cool look, whih celebrity's preety much were, It is also what his main look is with the sunglasses and the bandanna. College magazine evaluation

I think that i did a good job at perfecting a college magazine. I have used a wide varity of pictures which i took of completely different types of students raging from tall to small and took people who had different types of fashion sense. I have also used different types of shots ragging from medium close ups, to full body shots. I have used simple basic colours (blue, red and white as to not make the magazine look to complicated
    However i think that the front cover looks more like something you would find on a poster than on a music magazine, i will try and change that for when i do my final music magazine. On the contents page i have made it a little too basic and does not make it look professional. I have also accidently cut of a few people in the shots to make the models fit on the page.

My finished college magazine

1.Get some examples using the google image search.

2. Decide on
-a name
-overall style design
-what edition it might be e.g. Autum, science etc.
-colour sceme (preferably around 3-4 main colours at the most)
-headlines/kickers ( little stories- you can use the results from your questionaire to help you with ideas for this)
-Content in terms of the diffrent sections for your contents page
-Photography for all pages ( at least 4 + an MCU) (Medium close up).

photoshop

This was my first taste of what i did on photoshop, i choose to advertise a perfume and used examples from google and the portal to achieve my advertisement the thing that worked well was the fact a managed to layer the pics in the right order and that the text s bright and stands out which is what i wanted to achieve.

The thing that didn't work so well was; i couldn't get rid of the white background very well leaving a white border around the angel i also couldn't get rid of the text that is above the angel although i new how to do it in the end i didn't have enough time to finish it seems though the lesson ended.

the image shows the full body fro m a side on angle. the model is not looking at the camera. the picture as well as showing the model also shows the background of the college. the image is bright and doesn't show any darkness that would affect the photograph. The picture does not advertise the college it doesn't show much of what the college has or what it has to offer. there isn't much variety in the photograph as it only shows one model in the picture.

this picture is good quality as it shows the viewer that the students are hard working. It shows what the college has to offer in tems of what they can use for their work. the picture does advertise facilities at the college and what they have to offer. the picture is lanscape so the picture can show more of what is in the picture. It also shows the diffrent typesd of people at the college weather they are tall or short have diffrent fashion styles and other things in which deffines a persons identety.

this picture also shows good features of the college, but not in a working enviroment. This picture more shows of what a student does when he/she does not have any lessons weather that be socialising with freinds having something to eat or drink, or getting a head start on home work which they have been given or to study for upcoming exams. The picture is taken from a high suspective making the models in the picture look weak and vunreble.

4. These are the best selling music magazines; the most popular British music magazine is Kerrang which     sold 373,000. The next popular music magazine NME which sold 266,000
